Big Praise for our Big Tires

Customers Love Our Alliance 376 Farm Tire

One of the great joys of the summer for our team is pulling season. And while we love the excitement of the pulls, the main reason we attend so many National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) events is the opportunity to meet with the people using our tires day in and day out. We believe that learning from these interactions is one of the reasons why we've been so successful in addressing the needs of today’s farmer. Sometimes, though, someone like Cole Feldt from Grafton, Iowa just wants to visit our booth and tell us how much they love our product…and as much as we love feedback, we also really enjoy praise.

Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk

A Dismal Two Years for Dairy Farmers

On February 11, the U.S. will celebrate National Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day. For most people, the day serves as a reminder that it doesn't do any good to be unhappy about something that has already happened or that you have no control over. For the dairy industry, perhaps it can serve as a chance to put a dismal two years behind them, and to begin looking toward what many are predicting is a recovering market.

Vegetable Growers Battle Soil Compaction

Tires to Overcome Soil Compaction

Recently we ran across this interesting article about some of the methods vegetable growers are using to minimize soil compaction in their fields. We spend a lot of time talking about soil compaction, but most of the time it’s in relation to commodity crops such as corn and soybeans in spite of the fact that the same negative consequences of soil compaction (limited rate of water flow, reduced aeration, and an inability for roots to penetrate the soil to name a few) can hinder yields for all types of growers, including vegetable growers. As the article circulated the office, we couldn’t help but think about how our farm tires are designed to help in all of these applications.
