Last year’s SEMA (Speciality Equipment Market Association) show drew more than 60,000 attendees and this year’s show (happening November 3-6) will likely be even bigger! It’s not hard to see what the draw is with over 2,000 of the coolest new products on display from over 2,300 exhibiting companies. Filling over a million square feet of the Las Vegas Convention Center with the newest and most exciting toys in the automotive aftermarket industry, SEMA can be overwhelming - so here is a short guide to making the best of this year's show.
Get the smartphone app. Use the new and improved SEMA Show mobile app to easily navigate the show floor, review products, get celebrity listings, find out about educational sessions, and keep up to date with any breaking show information.
SEMA is a great opportunity for celebrity spotting. We know you secretly read The National Enquirer in line at the grocery store and we don’t blame you. We do it too...sometimes. While it’s doubtful you’ll spot Bennifer or Brangelina at SEMA, it’s likely you’ll spot numerous celebrities and icons from inside the automotive world. Don’t miss Kansas! ATG is sponsoring a concert featuring the legendary rock band Kansas. On November 4, The Hard Rock Cafe will be rocking as Kansas plays hits like “Dust in the Wind” and “Carry On Wayward Son.” Tickets are free and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is general admission, with doors opening at 7 PM and the show beginning at 8:30 PM. Get there early, you don’t want to miss this great event! Click here to register for tickets.
SEMA offers more than 50 free seminars. It’s easy to be lured into the glitz and glamour of the show, but make sure you take some time to sit in on one of these seminars. Presented by industry leaders, the seminars cover hot topics such as online marketing, social media, customer service, and a multitude of other current issues facing you and your business.
You have to go to the parade. People wait all year for SEMA and they get sent off in style. On Friday at 4 PM, more than 1,500 of the of the planet's most electrifying vehicles are organized in a parade-style exit. Perhaps the coolest cruise in the world, this event is sure to leave attendees wanting more and booking their tickets for next year's SEMA event. Click here for a great video of last years cruise.
As you can probably, tell we are very excited for this year's SEMA. Don’t forget to register for your ticket to the ATG-sponsored Kansas show at the Hardrock Cafe. We’re looking forward to a night spent listening to great music with great people. See you in Las Vegas!
