Over the years, the telehandler has emerged as a highly versatile machine that many farmers and construction companies now find indispensable. Developed by the Matbro company at Horley in Surrey, England, in the early 1980s, the telehandler was initially conceived as an articulated cross-country forklift for use in forestry applications.
